WARNING:
This guide is copied from TheKatana,I don't take any credits for this one:
From lvl1 to lvl30: map1 mobs and savages.
From lvl30 to lvl40: BO parties.
From lvl40 to lvl55: DT, first 3 floors (if you find someone who will add you to group going to the Blacksmiths floor, that would be great) and I recommend DT because its good farming+lvling place (you get good experience and can earn quite a nice amount of yang).
From lvl55 to lvl65: If you can’t afford dragon coins Cave1. If you can, read bellow.
From lvl55(65) to lvl73: Cave2, rooms with small spiders and snakes (believe it or not they give you more experience then big spiders, at least it was like that when I lvled there). I’m not sure if it’s till lvl72 or 73, sorry...
From lvl73 to lvl79: Cave2, rooms with big spiders.
From lvl79 to unknown level (for now 86): Red Wood (my choice) or DT (8th floor gives probably the best exp I’ve ever seen, but you’ll need a map from 7th floor, and there is allot of chance you’ll get dc after 10-20 mins, meaning you lost the chance to kill reaper).
Advice: If you plan to lvl in Red Wood, I have to warn you that it’s not ‘profitable’ (you spend a large amount of money on pots and you don’t get such good drops, at least not till lvl86).
And if I wrote only this, it would be quite enough for allot of people, but as I said I’m writing this thread to help more than usual.
Few leveling advices:
1. Make sure that you ask around or read on board which bonuses are good for the mobs you need to kill. Bonuses which are good for any kind of lvling are: Absorbed HP and Absorbed SP (critical, HP and similar are your choice). Also an advice for you all PvE players and lvlers, exp bonus of at least 20% (one item) would be extremely helpful (you can get them on shoes (rare), shield (not so rare) and necklace (rare)).
2. I would advise you to have a dragon shaman wife or at least a buff bot (to all of you owning buff bots it will be extremely difficult to lvl with buff bots above lvl 79 in Red Wood, due to all the angry mobs there), a high master in Dragon’s Strength and Blessing is a must and some int bonuses.
3. Red Wood metins:
3a) First of all if you have a wife or you married your buff bot it’s allot easier. If you don’t do it after you’ve just lvled (so with 0-5% exp), it’s not gonna be so nice if you don’t have someone to teleport to.. cause you will be dying allot…
3b) What you should be hunting for in Red Wood are Exp Rings. My advice is stashing them for a while (if you are leveling in Cave2, do try doing it on Tuesday
right after Maintenance (good respawn), with let’s say 3-4 exp rings, it should be enough for level, bravery capes would be good to use in that case). After lvl 79 you’ll need ALLOT of Exp Rings to get good exp, so hunt hunt hunt..
3c) If you don’t have good equipment (540+ def, ee+9, wgb+9 and a good weapon), you should hunt lvl85 metins. Tho it’s not so easy to find them… cause allot of people are hunting them, so that might be a problem.
3d) Whatever you do, DONT KS in Red Wood.
3e) The easiest way to kill a metin is to lure all mobs away from it first. You just have to take as much groups you can that are around it, hit them few times and go as far as you can, then teleport to your wife/hubby. You might need to do that few times, before all groups are on safe distance from you.
4. Leaders book is helpful if you plan on lvling in a group.
5. Love bracelet works if you are on a same map with your wife/hubby, so you don’t even have to be on same screen, in order for it to give you some extra exp, which apparently varies, I don’t know why (don’t use it till your love points are 100%, cause it’s a waste of money).
Now the part you wanted to know… what do I get as a drop on lvl 86… As it was already written in other threads…
Armors lvl 66 (if you are wondering about drop rate, just take a look at my guild members, they are all kinda BLACK all of a sudden).
Heaven’s Tear Accessories (bracelets mostly on +4,+5,+6, gotten some on +0, necklaces +0,+1,+2, few on higher +, earrings on +0, one were +5).
Nymph Swords, Salvation Fans, Heaven and Earth Bells, Electromagnetic Blades, Exorcism Swords, Lightning Knifes, Divine Apricot Bows, all on +0.
Got 1 Battle Sword, Heavenly Bird Fan, I think 2 Partisans and Yellow Dragon Bows, also on +0.
Clams
Lower lvl weapons, such as Rib Knife, bows that I don’t even bother to remember their name, Great Swords, Flying Wizard Swords, Golden Bug bells, Steel Bug Bells etc, all on low +.
And ‘usual’ Red Wood drops, such as mulberries, hay, gango root, alpine rose, carrots, red/blue/purple pots, linguistic books, poly books, leadership books, combo books, gold keys, I can’ remember all of them now, sorry.
If I remember anything else that is relevant, I’ll post again.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask, I’ll answer asap.
Thank you for your attention.
